Baart says idea of Christians at front of gay pride parade ‘sounds a lot like Jesus’

This is part nine in a series of charges stemming from Aaron Baart’s chapel service from March of 2015 regarding sexuality. This is the ninth charge:

Aaron, the spiritual leader of kids at Dordt College, quotes a pastor who says Christians should be at the very front of the gay pride parade.

Aaron adds his own opinion, saying it “sounds a lot like Jesus.”

This is astoundingly false teaching!

Would Jesus (or any Christian) be at the front of a pride parade?

An adultery pride parade? A fornication pride parade? For the sake of argument, lets say homosexuality wasn’t a sin, it was just a morally neutral discriminated group. Would Jesus walk at the front of a discriminated group like gentiles? Did he lead a gentile pride parade? Nonsense!

If you do not recognize this as false teaching, if you think it is sound, think about saying this from your pulpit. Think about organizing Orange City’s first gay pride parade. Get some big names like Bruce Jenner and Elton John. You and Aaron can be at the front with them holding hands in solidarity and pride!
