Northwestern College professor, Scott Monsma, wrote a paper entitled “ReDefining Marriage: Changes and Challenges” in the spring of 2014.
Monsma, engaging and popular (former NWC professor of the year), led a pro-gay marriage chapel at Northwestern College several years ago. Northwestern College removed it from their website.
Professor Monsma will teach your Christian kids to ignore the Bible and accept gay marriage. He played a movie in class — “For the Bible Tells Me So” — which repeatedly promotes gay marriage and portrays conservative Christians such as Dr. James Dobson as the enemy, as haters, bigots and homophobes.

Quotes from Monsma’s paper, which you can read here: Monsma paper: (Re)Defining Marriage: Changes and Challenges
“Cross-cultural and historical evidence suggests that there is no empirical support for a single definition of marriage.”
“Like the idea of headship, it appears that the issue of same-sex marriage is important to conservative evangelicals because it serves as an in-group and out-group boundary between evangelicals and the larger society.”
